Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Putting LOVE into practice (Phil 2:2 having the same love) means we LOOK OUT for the interest OTHERS. In verse 3 we are to ESTEEM (honor) OTHERS better than ourselves. NOW we are to LOOK OUT for their interest. In looking out we are looking closely at what is needed. This idea of looking closely is seen in James 1:27 as James writes, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows
