25 Verses of Christmas

As we think of Christmas this December we want to focus on what God did for us!
May each verse remind you the reason for the birth was so He could die to save you!
1 John 3:1How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 
Micah 5:2  “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall COME forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”
Luke 2:3 – 4 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. 4 Joseph also WENT up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, as he was of the house and lineage of David,  
Galatians 4:4 – 5  But when the fullness of the time had come, God SENT forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5  to REDEEMthose who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
I John 3:5  And you know that He was MANIFESTED to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is GIVEN; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 
Philippians 2:7 – 8 But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and COMING in the likeness of men. 8  And being found in appearance as a man, He HUMBLED Himself and became OBEDIENTto the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
Romans 5:8 God demonstrates His own LOVE toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died FOR us.
1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has SENT His only begotten Son into the world, that we might LIVEthrough Him.
Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man CAME to seek and to save what was lost.”
Luke 2:10 – 11 The angel said to them,  Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  
Matthew 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasure chests and GAVE Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
John 1:12 (11) He CAME to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12  But as many as RECEIVED Him, to them He GAVE the right to become CHILDREN of God, to those who BELIEVE in His name: 
Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:  14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and DWELT among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise SHARED in the same, that through death He might DESTROY him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
1 Timothy 1:15 “This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus CAME into the world to SAVE sinners, of whom I am chief.” 
Luke 2:16  And the shepherds came with HASTE and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.
Hebrews 2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made LIKE His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make PROPITIATION for the sins of the people.
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also SUFFERED once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might BRING US TO God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,
Ephesians 3:19 (18) (I pray you) may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height 19  to know the LOVE of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Luke 2:19  But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.  
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and GAVE Himself for me.
Matthew 1:21 “She will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will SAVE His people from their sins.”
Acts 3:22  “For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your God will RAISE UP for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.
Matthew 1:23  “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “GOD WITH US.”
1 Peter 2:24  Who Himself BORE our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed.
Matthew 1:25 and he didn’t know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS
Hebrews 7:25  Therefore He is also able to SAVE to the uttermost those who COME to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
