25 verses to DATE the Word for Christmas
Luke 2:19  But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
As Mary found herself participating in the birth of the Messiah she saw and heard, yes, experienced so many incredible things that Luke writes she TREASURED UP these moments and PONDERED ON THEM, I would like to put before you 25 verses to TREASURE UP and PONDER ON this Christmas season.  The verses will go from 1 to 25 (not in chronological order) and every now and then there will be two for a number.  You can read this in one sitting and/or you can read them as 25 verses till Christmas, one a day.  Feel free to use this resource as you see fit! 

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Matthew 1:1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

Micah 5:2  “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

Luke 2:3  So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. 4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,  

In Galatians 4:4-5 Paul tells us that at just the right time God sent the Messiah to redeem us.

Galatians 4:4  But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5  to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

I John 3:5  you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
Isaiah 9:6  For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Luke 2:7  And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn.

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

I John 3:8  He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Matthew 2:9  When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.

Luke 2:11  “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  
Matthew 2:11  And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Luke 2:12  “And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”  

Luke 2:13 -14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:  “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Hebrews 2:17  Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Matthew 1:18  Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.  

Luke 2:19  But Mary treasured all these things and pondered them in her heart.  

Luke 2:20  Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

Matthew 1:21  “And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Luke 2:22  Now when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord  

Matthew 1:23  “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Matthew 1:24  Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,  

Matthew 1:25  and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.
