Isaiah 6:8 “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.””
The prophet Isaiah is having one of the greatest moments any human being could ever experience as he is seeing the Lord and as he sees Him high and lifted up he hears angels crying Holy Holy Holy.  That moment brings about the realization of his sin (the closer one gets to God the more evident their sin becomes) leading to a brokenness over his sin that brings about confession to the Lord and then cleansing from the Lord!  What a moment!  What a beautiful moment!!!Â
From seeing the Lord, Isaiah now hears the Lord, hearing the Lord’s heart – hearing the Lord’s need – hearing the Lord’s request of whom shall I send and who will go for us?  As Isaiah hears the request, he responds with one of the greatest responses one can make to God as he says, “Here am I! Send me!”
May I ask you a very personal question?  Have those 5 words ever crossed your lips to the ears of God? Have you made yourself available to God for God to be used by God?  Have you said to God I am available for whatever He wants, to use me however He wants, wherever He wants, and whenever He wants?  Has there been a time of total surrender of your life, and you said, “HERE I AM! SEND ME??
Today may the words “Here I am! Send me!” come from your heart across your lips to the heart of God!
And remember that while dependability is the greatest ability, availability is the first ability!
Continue Strong being available to the Lord,
And remember to DATE the Word
