I Can See Clearly Now

Proverbs 4:18 “The path of the righteous is like the light of the sun moving from light of dawn that then shines brighter and brighter until midday.”

As one lives a righteous life it is as if one were walking on a path starting at the dawn of a new day and continuing until high noon when the sun is shining bright. Life for the righteous becomes clear. They can see both opportunities and obstacles. They see clearly what to avoid, unlike the wicked who in verse 19 is on a dark path that gets darker, and they have no idea what causes them to stumble. The righteous even can fix what is wrong as sometimes things do because they can see what caused them to fall. (Proverbs 24:7) The righteous can sing, “I can see clearly now.”

AN APRIL TO BELIEVE Note

With Easter this Sunday, April 20, we are reading through the Gospel of John. On this April 18th, (Good Friday) we encourage you to read/listen to John 18 where Christ is the FAITHFUL ONE. The key verse for BELIEVING in Jesus is John 18:37. It says,” Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”  May this April be an April to Believe!
