2 Kings 7:9 “Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now, therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.””
When you have what other people need and you do not share it you are doing wrong. The starving lepers found food and as they enjoyed the blessings that had come their way they realized it needed to be shared. Realization turned to resolve (come, let us go and tell) and they returned to share the good news.
Soul-winning is just one beggar telling another beggar where to find food.
Make this real personal: Having received the greatest blessing of salvation who do you need to go and tell so they might know the Savior? With your answer, go and tell!
You might want to recall a few verses about being a soul-winner
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.
Daniel 12:3 “And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
Continue Strong sharing the good news,
And remember to DATE the Word
