Deuteronomy 12:7 “And there you shall eat before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice in all to which you have put your hand, you and your households, in which the LORD your God has blessed you.”
Each meal we eat should be a reminder of the blessings of God. As you have asked Him to provide your daily bread (Matthew 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread) you then sit down to a meal that is an answer to prayer.)
Have you thought about the fact that every meal is an answer to prayer?
As you enjoy your meal it should be a joyous time filled with thanksgiving and praise to God who has blessed you! Your mealtime should be a reminder that every good and perfect gift has come down from above (James 1:17). It should be a reminder of the gifts and talents the Lord has provided you with in order for you to provide for you and your family.
Maybe I stretch this a little but every meal should be approached as a Thanksgiving Day meal where we reflect on the blessings of God and give Him thanks for being so good to us. Maybe something to consider??!!
God is great. God is good. Let us THANK Him for our food. Amen
Continue Strong enjoying your meals with thanksgiving,
And Remember to Date the Word
